A former military officer from New York, Patrick Megaro brings 30 years of experience in planning and executing security plans, public safety, operations, and risk-management, supporting large, high-tempo facilities and leading complex organizations.
His expertise includes planning, coordination, risk assessment, armory and sensitive-equipment accountability, access control, emergency response, and coordination with local, state, and federal law enforcement. A licensed Florida security manager, armed security officer, and security school instructor, Patrick also holds a Juris Doctor degree. He currently serves as a Florida State Guard battalion operations and training officer, synchronizing readiness and mission planning for approximately 550 personnel.
Jo-Lana Trotman is an experienced security, emergency management, and operations professional with a strong record of leading teams in high-pressure environments.
Her background includes detention-facility security, emergency shelter operations, disaster recovery, FEMA damage assessment, and regulatory compliance. She has supervised multidisciplinary teams of more than 500 personnel and coordinated with government agencies and community stakeholders. Jo-Lana holds a master’s degree in criminal justice and a bachelor’s degree in business management, along with Florida Class D and Class G security licenses, and a Real Estate Agent license.

James Sherrow began his career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a tank commander and completing international deployments that included Haiti and Iraq. After his honorable discharge,
he earned a master’s degree in cybersecurity and gained extensive experience managing private security teams and corporate cybersecurity programs worldwide. A native Floridian, he continues public service as a part-time Florida State Guard Company Commander responsible for approximately 125 soldiers.
Michael Megaro is a business professional with a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and business operations.
Michael has strengthened this academic knowledge through practical experience managing a restaurant, where he oversaw daily operations, controlled expenses, managed inventory, monitored revenue, and supported payroll and staffing decisions.
